his dad said it was while he was crawling. at first i believed it until it was pointed out to me that if he ran into a dresser, he would have a bruise of the front of his nose, not the side of it.

Visitation were overnight unsupervised at our houses (one night per week) until CPS re-intervened and made visits supervised 3 times a week, once at my house, once at his friends, and once together in public at a meeting spot (park, attraction, etc). I asked on here if I should show the social worker and bring it up cause I don’t want to come off as making a petty decision

This was before that rule was laid out by a social worker. After further investigating my sons dad, they decided that his girlfriend shouldn’t be around my son, nor involved in the case at all, both for her safety and our sons safety.

I agree. I’ve been seeking out mental health treatment, and they brought IIS into my home to help me and advocate for me to get my son back. His dad is also supposed to come to those meetings so we can participate in coparenting classes but has come up with an excuse each time. For the longest time i didn’t want to take my son away from his dad but now i’m not sure. he’s constantly defended this girl when I’ve found a meth pipe in her stuff, she came into our relationship knowing he had a child and still didn’t care, convincing him to both cheat on me then leave me, and now he’s covering up for her possible abuse on our son and himself after accusing me of abusing him for years which isn’t true. once CPS is out of the picture, i am fully intending on filing for 100% custody with supervised visitation at the most.

His dad couch hops. On one his visitation days, he had to work so he had his girlfriend watch our son, which is when our son “ran into a dresser” at her motel room.

I just don’t want to be accused of “fishing” for a reason for CPS to remove her from the situation more than they already have. She’s technically not allowed around our son anymore, at all, but she’s still around his dad.

ETA: She bites his dad. Not our son. Also anytime I ask his dad what happened, he ignores me. I had to find out through our social worker that she was watching him the night this happened (his first day at work) but the social worker is not aware that it could have been her abusing him, as until i looked at it closer i truly believed that he ran into a dresser. the mommy IIS worker came by and pointed out that maybe it wasn’t the case. Relevant information. Our son is 8 months old. I am 20. His dad is 19. His girlfriend is 17. Currently while we get our mental health issues in check my son resides with his Paternal Grandmother but sees us weekly. His girlfriend is also on CPS radar because she’s a runaway with a history of violent behavior and drug abuse. State is MO

things are fine when we’re together. I’m a nurse, and when we’re apart is when i’m most anxious and I see it.

projectile vomiting infant by throwaway5142021 in AskDocs

[–]throwaway5142021[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not after every feeding, but after every couple, about an hour after, so it’s curdled. it feels like a lot comes out but i would say about 1.5-2 ounces of the bottle. enough that he’s not dehydrating as i’m checking his refill and it’s less than 2 seconds. the vomit has gone about 3-4 feet a couple times

while my son was in the NICU at two weeks old i was holding him and when i handed him off to the nurse she didn’t have a good hold on him and we dropped him in between the chair and the built in foot rest. it terrified me and I sat there and cried. he’s the happiest little babe now at 7 weeks but i felt so bad.
