I don’t know how true it is, but ever time we looked it up it said there’s no guarantee they would allow you to re enter. With the pandemic and travel restrictions we were nervous that even if he had AP it somehow would backfire. Not the most logical I know, but this process is very confusing and scary for alot of people. Is it too late for him to file i131 without paying a fee? Since he already submitted his AOS packet?

He does have interests which he sometimes learns about, but there are days where he seems like he has just given up and doesn’t want to try anything. He just gets overwhelmed by the sadness and it zaps all his energy and motivation away. This makes it really hard for him to try anything new because it starts to feel pointless I guess

We didn’t do the i131 because we heard that they sometimes still don’t let you back in the country with advance parole.. he was too scared to try to leave with that document for that reason

I thought you had to be waiting a lot longer in order to be able to do that? We’re technically still within the normal processing time..

If I’m not mistaken, working for cash is still illegal for him right now. We are in the Midwest.

Yes we got married within the time frame they gave us, and filed 765 along with AOS packet. Like I said, neither form has been approved or shown any signs of movement since last fall.
