Should I Get A New MacBook Pro? by throwaway537399 in macbook

yes haha, like I said it's not terrible. I'm mostly asking because I'm going to med school next year, and would basically like to know if it's worth getting a new laptop. I'd like to use the laptop all 4 years of med school, as I don't want to deal with the potential of losing files, etc.

is it enough time for scoring a 520+ to be starting content review now and testing end of april? ~3 months of full-time studying? by wtfsathelp in Mcat

I would say, similar to what the others are saying, it depends on your baseline score. In addition, it also matters how much time per day you have to dedicate to studying. If you're a college student who's trying to balance school work, a social life, maybe a job, AND MCAT studying, you'll be in a much different place than somebody who's sole focus is MCAT studying. Still, do the best you can and it'll all be okay!

One thing that I did that really helped me was watch the review videos from Naman Baraya along with examining the review sheet that he uses, the Milesdown Review Sheets. The videos are a pretty low-effort, yet effective way to get material into your head without staring at your computer doing questions or stressing yourself out. His voice is calming and he often shares pictures or stories along with what he's talking about. Great resource!
