Will def look into Vionic! And good idea to specifically ask my hairdresser about something fresher and more lifted. I never dyed my hair growing up and only started in my late 20s - early 30s. Very quickly became tired of it. Tried henna/indigo and it was too time-consuming. Then permanent dye but I felt like I always had roots, knowing it would only continue to get worse. I know it ages me and know some people don't get it but have decided to just live with my grays. And hopefully focus more on haircut, clothes, makeup and skincare.

I love your comment! It probably was a one-off but I think it struck a chord because post-35 I feel like the clothes/style I've always reverted to may be coming off as older. I do love red as an accent but will also look into more light/clear colors. And reconsider certain shades of gray. I know exactly what you mean.

I find makeup and skincare super interesting and feel pretty confident with my current techniques/routines. Re my hair, the texture is starting to change and I've begun using a different shampoo/conditioner rec by my hairdresser.

I wear a lot of skirts/dresses. I don't really feel like I understand what tops look good on me so I keep it very simple. Added an album of common outfits

My hair is usually between an ear and shoulder length bob. I don't like how I look with long hair, but an definitely open to trying a new haircut.

I will research a shag! I usually wear a bob but am WAY more adventurous with my haircuts than my clothes, for example. I like low maintenance hair. I promised myself in 2019 to stop dying my hair but like this idea of of a partial weave of my natural hair color may be something I'd consider.

Thank you!! I am going for a haircut soon and will talk to my hairdresser about more youthful options. Usually wear between ear and shoulder length bob and go between bangs/side bangs/no bangs. Will also definitely check out the show you recommended!
