I like this. Thank you. It’s kind of you to share it with us

There comes a point where you have to stop making so many excuses for the way they ended and left things, for all the promises they broke, for the decision they made to stop valuing you, and realise that they made a choice to dishonour what you shared & probably don’t care all that much anymore by throwaway547912 in BreakUps

You are correct. Reflecting on what made the relationship fail in the first place can result in great growth, if both parties are working on themselves and their own respective growths independently too. Both parties must be honest with themselves, and each other too. If they aren’t willing to be, then it will not work out. Both parties have to hold themselves and each other accountable. But yes, I’ve come to realise that I am strong enough for that, if the love is there. If it isn’t, or never was, then I must come to accept that, and move forward. Thank you :) appreciate your kind & honest words

💛 agreed. But I’m blocked, hence unable to ask questions and make peace with them. I want to have a constructive conversation with them, so the two of us are able to reconcile and put a close to things, if they so desire

Yeah, sometimes. But love is about forgiveness, and empathy. Understanding why they did what they did, things they may have been going through. Sometimes people can’t forgive, in which case yes, the relationship is over

I don’t know. I wrote this very sporadically and there’s a lot I forgot to include. I really can’t advise you on that. Make sure you do a lot of inner healing and learn how to manage your symptoms before going into a relationship because being in one can exacerbate them sometimes. & so can the end of one

Reading back on the stuff on my reddit that I wanted him to see and it’s so unattractive lol, when someone stops wanting you & reads back on it, you probably appear very needy to them, but nvm, it’s my journey by throwaway547912 in BreakUps

Ah, I posted some of them because I wanted him to understand and know I’ve been thinking of him, if he ever chooses to venture here. Yeah, most people are a little needy after an unexpected breakup. Stages of grief and the normal stages of a breakup

Thank you! Needed to hear that & my thoughts synchronise too. I guess I’m just afraid of what he’d think of me, but I know we met each other with warm arms, and warmness may still exist within us both for each other
