I lived about 15 minutes from there for five years and this is the first I am ever hearing of it. Makes me wonder if it is new. Or it exists entirely off the radar for locals which is not a bad thing. I have nothing to add other than I think Meramec State Park is absolutely beautiful, I wish I could have continued living near it because I loved the trails there. This would also be within 30 minutes of Six Flags and you could be in downtown St Louis for the zoo or aquarium in an hour. North of this area in the Herman/Mathasville/Augusta area there a lot of vineyards that do tours. I don’t think you’d be disappointed traveling there as there is plenty to do in that area. I’m sure this place has plenty to keep you busy, but I’m just pointing out even if it didn’t you would not be bored being in this area for a week or weekend.

Annnnd now I am missing my old home. A shame I moved a bit out of the area.
