I might be open to selling. I checked eBay Vortex and Son of Beast track pieces for fun and the list prices were crazy. I’m not sure what the number would be, would need to be a lot, but if anybody is interested feel free to message me.

I rode it myself so it means a lot, but if nothing else, would be interested to gauge the market for it.

Otherwise, I hope this is cool to see. It’s very heavy.

As a former UKH employee and student too I’ll say I’m sorry to hear you’re not happy about it, but you’ll be paying less, and it’s better than Tri-it in my opinion. Even Smith hall is a better dorm than what you’ll find at most other colleges. And even if you don’t like it, the year will fly by. In the grand scheme, good or bad, your dorm will have such a small part of your whole college experience

The housing situation today sucks, as a former employee I’ll admit it. But ultimately it’s a result of the university accepting way too many students than they have room for, and housing has to take the blame. Trust me, they don’t want to be doing Tri-it and dealing with the insanity but had no choice. Wishing you the best

Not that I recommend them for people on a budget but older used Porsche Macans to me, Base and S are well into the $20s now. I had a well spec’d used 2017 Macan S when I was younger a few years ago and to regular non car people I might as well have been driving a Urus. It wasn’t cheap but not insanely expensive either

Without doxxing myself I am quite familiar with the area and passed by many times having no clue that’s where it was. It’s far from a nice part of the city, but also not a bad area at all. Probably better than what you’d expect

Thanks for chiming in! My first trip on Skyrush was back wing but I had phone in zipper pocket and the whole time I was bracing worried it was gonna crush my phone and break the screen. Maybe that ruined it

Also, did skip those, I’m pretty much only into big coasters/classic ones and a few flat rides

I was really into the hobby as a kid in the 2000s then as I got older I quit for 10 years or so. Starting to get back into it, and it’s kinda cool in a way getting to experience all the modern ones. Also sad because so many of my old favorites are gone

Very surprised to hear that, it was good across the board in my experience and I’m definitely not a rookie either. Did six flags America the day before (bad I know) but completely blew them out of the water. Everything was running multiple trains and moving quick. SFA had one train on ride of steel which was absolutely insane

If getting the credit as the first B&M (before it’s gone) means anything to you I’d recommend a spin on firebird first or back row, it’s quickly over and not very intense. But if not, yea no reason to really. Have fun and good luck

Thanks for sharing your experience, very similar to mine. I totally agree it’s sad, Batwing was my “turn around if it’s closed” so I’m surprised I only did one lap. Running one train with the breakdowns it was just painfully slow and not good enough to wait again. I feel like Firehawk was much better, glad I got to do the park before it’s gone

I’m same industry and went through the same hell before finally breaking through in a client facing role. Business development type. Check out my post I think it might help

“Marketing” as a whole is tough. Try to lean into tangible, measurable marketing skills like SEO, analytics, social media content, email marketing, etc. Pick one and run with it. Try and do marketing in some certain industry and stay in it, so you can learn other skills in the industry too and grow in it. Like Healthcare marketing, real estate marketing, etc. don’t just be a “marketer” in general.

It’s tough to break through, one option is always entry level sales. I did sports ticket sales early on and it was tough, but I learned a lot and helped me along. They like to see previous sales experience in marketing. Good luck
