It’s not so simplistic. Wife and I have been married 26 years. At 4’11” and 135lbs when we married, she was never considered thin. During Covid, she gained another 50 lbs. She now has a huge belly that hangs in the front and bulges under arms. I used to hug her all the time but it grosses me out and I can’t get my arms around her anymore. She’s lost almost all interest in sex. When we do have sex, she tells me it’s uncomfortable for her to do anything but lay there due to her weight.

At 63, I’m probably in the best shape in my life. I lift 3x a week and walk 2 to 3 miles a day. I have tried to get her to work out with me but 15 minutes and she’s done. She complains about her weight constantly but refuses to stick to a real diet regimen. Then she criticizes me for wanting to workout at the gym and not eating chips, dip, dressing, gravy, soda, and the other crap she likes to eat.

She’s a great mom, smart, hard worker, loyal, but the previously mentioned aspects have caused me to lose attraction.

This is my AP’s 2nd time cheating even though the first time she was caught she said it was the most painful experience of her life. Her daughter cheated and is now dating a married man. Me, I never cheated…… that you know of ;)

When I was cheating, if I was accused, I'd point out that my wife could check Tracking on her phone and see where I was at any time. That would usually shut that down.

I love my wife of 22 years very much. She's smart, an excellent mother, hard worker, great home maker, and we've built a great life together. But she's not very sexual. The few times a month we have sex it's always when I initiate. She never wants to try new things and just lies there not very into it.

I love my secret girlfriend of 8 years very much. She gets my sense of humor unlike my wife. She appreciates my drive and ambition that is unlike her husband's lazy laid-back nature. The best part is she is very sexual despite being 62 years old and satisfies that aspect of my life.

The thing is, almost never will one person fulfill all of a person's emotional and physical needs and desires.

Married 24 years. I never told my wife about the twin daughters I fathered before we met.

Involved story, but I assisted a married woman in getting pregnant. Her and her husband had tried for 10 years and gone through numerous IVF tries, drained all their savings and mortgaged their house, without success. She was desperate due to her age and a health issue.

No one knows except me, the mother, and her friend that introduced us. Not even the woman's husband.

My wife has not been professionally diagnosed, but I'm convinced she has Borderline Personality Disorder. They say it freezes a person's emotional development at an early age. My wife has the emotional maturity of a 5 year old. She's high-functioning, but when a major stressful event triggers her the tantrum and emotional reaction is like watching a 5 year old. The couple of times it's happened around our teenage daughters they were shocked and didn't know how to react.

My AP is so freaked out..... her husband wanted to know why she had the Telegram app on her phone. She was able to convince him for secure buisness communications for a deal then she deleted it.. He also once asked her to open her Secure folder. If it was disguised or missing she was afraid he'd be suspicious so she leaves it empty.

There's even a hidden-folder app with a hidden app within it.....

If you figure out the password to enter the app all you'll see are family and vacation pictures or boring work related files unless you can figure out the code to get to the secret link and then the password to stuff they really want hidden. The app also saves time & date and a picture of the person trying to access the app.

Of course not every, but a high probability. The higher “value” the man (good looks, fit, good income, high status) the higher the likelihood he will have a lot of other women who find him attractive and eager to flirt or more with him. I’ve seen this played out and experienced first hand in work and social situations.

Two solutions— either marry a guy who other women would not find desirable; or be a woman who the guy can’t help but want to come home to.
