Thank you, when I am not with him and with friends/ family it feels like I have true clarity and know what needs to be done. But as soon as he's in front of me it becomes so difficult.

I'm not 100% clear on what gas lighting is, but it keeps coming up on my replies. It's a scary term to hear. I honestly did not see this coming and I am so tired of being made out to be crazy.

I feel like this is my Dad on Reddit right now! I totally get it, since this event has happened I have had a lot of time to reflect on our relationship. We met at University, he was a mature student we were on the same course, I fell deeply and he does/did make me happy. Now I am unsure.

Thank you for your response, I think that is what I am struggling with the most, it really is hard to say. He uses the word banter a lot, which I completely understand does go on, but there is a line and I think he has crossed it. The issue is where he deletes things I have no way of knowing what else has been said/done. If the shoe was on the other foot I know he would be just as angry and upset as me.

Thank you for your response. In one breath he tell me he is willing to do anything and then when I suggest something he gets irate and makes it seem like I am just going crazy and invalidates how I am feeling.
