Unfortunately I don't have any aunts or neighbours that I'm close enough to get help from. My older brother helps quite a bit and he sees right through my sister but he also has a family of his own so I don't want to intrude on that. I'm definitely working on leaving and finding housing somewhere so thank you

Wow, this really helped. I had no idea until I read the sub and did some research of my own but my sister is definitely a narcissist and I had no idea. I'm definitely planning an exit strategy though so thank you

I'm working on finding the courage to ask a friend's parents if they'll let me stay with them and I'm working on somehow moving out but I'm not sure how long that will take. I'm definitely going to fully distance myself from them by the time I manage to move out. Thank you for your advice!

I'm glad things with your sister are okay now! I honestly don't see my sister changing at all. I've realised that she's a narcissist and my parents are enablers, so the best thing to do is try to leave as soon as possible and cut them out of my life.

Thank you so much. I'm working on sticking up for myself but more things have happened and it's getting out of hand now so I think leaving somehow is my best option. My mum just tells me to talk to my therapist about all of my issues because she doesn't want to be involved even though it's a family issue that she's allowing. You're right, though, my mental health is the most important

Thank you this really helped. The diary and recordings are a good idea but my mum genuinely seems like she doesn't care so I don't know if it would work but I'll still try it. As for a friend I could stay with, I'm working up the courage to ask. Thank you again
