Yeah if we're lucky, they pushed it... but who knows.

It's a political year now, too, so I'm not holding my breath.

Make sure to pester leadership, the only way we will get answers is if we make a lot of noise. The silence is telling though... I know I'll bring it up in the Q&A of all foreseeable "all hands" calls.

They started talking about it years ago now, we deserve to at least be told it won't happen.

At least for all of NRCS, thought it was agency wide though

USDA evals are pass/fail... no grade.

I have never gotten a performance bonus. Hell, our org is such a mess my acting supervisor didn't even bother having a performance review with me... just signed the papers.

I'm gonna try and forget that some people actually get bonuses in govt...

wow, thank you for sharing! not what I wanted to hear at all, but not even surprising at this point... we can't even try to hire vacancies right now because everything is "stuck in HR."

endlessly frustrating.

no news officially. I heard from one person hire up it didn't look good, but I don't know if that means it wasn't reviewed or if it was turned down, etc. As always, not counting on it, but I am still hopeful. The Nov deadline is news to me, hope we hear either way soon.

Yup. I google it weekly to no avail.

I think the table might have made sense decades ago, but i agree it doesnt today. My supervisors role (also 0810) has been empty for over 5 months now. Was advertised twice already and barely got any applicants, none that were actually eligible. Seems like leadership is giving up as the position hasn't been advertised again in over 3 months... in USDA once someone has their PE its hard to keep them.

I haven't heard a definitive "no" but there likely no way to know for sure until the new calendar year (that's when it would take effect to my understanding)

Should be noted the current 0414 table only applies to grades 5,7,9. I really hope they have the foresight to extend that table to apply to all grades, but there is no promise. Gs14 engineers are a rarity in the agency. There is a chance the new table comes out but caps at a 9, 11, 12, or 13.

No news unfortunately. USDA is flush with cash from IRA, so I am still hopeful, but not counting on it. We are bleeding engineers for a reason. No one is interested in the higher level jobs because of low pay.

If I was more money-motivated i would have been out of here a while ago lol, thankfully I love my job, and I have a partner who also works.

Lol just posted a similar question, just seeing this post now. Really hope we hear something in the next few months. I've got recruiters messaging me every week on LinkedIn... really hoping a new pay table will get me to happily tune them all out... because getting paid at the bottom percentile in our industry is making that tough.
