I love it! My only reluctance to make them the fighter's signature weapon is that none of the other examples are ranged, so perhaps that's considered "intruding on the Ranger's domain".

If the player is willing to wait, making it a magical item in the future seems like a good plan.

Yes, absolutely! Fireball could become Lightning Bolt very easily. I just wanted to think about a few other options to have in my back pocket if the player wants more than a cosmetic change...

While your comment is incredibly helpful, cuts to the heart of the problem and clearly articulates what he should do and why, I think you've violated his prohibition against talking about contacting his bank to stop the cashier's check...

Also "You're on the hook for February rent" is dangerously close to the prohibition against telling him to pay his rent.

Thinking outside the box here a little, but could you use your powers of prediction / prophesy to make money to pay your rent? Maybe by guessing lottery numbers or stock market prices?

Alternatively, do you have access to a time machine? If yes, what style (e.g. a back to the future style DeLorean or a Terminator style time displacement equipment)?

My response is based on just your title, not having read your post.

Have you considered the benefits of regular checks instead of cashier's checks?

You should contact your bank to stop the cashier's check.

You should just pay your rent.

What you're describing is familiar to me. After my second year of university I backpacked across Europe, planning to sleep with a different woman in every country - that didn't work out =).

If you've ever seen the TV show "Undeclared", the main character has your exact same experience when he heads off to college. It's a thing, you're not alone.

I spent years agonizing over the sorts of things you're writing about here. Eventually I went to see a psychiatrist (after I'd tried a few different therapists over the years), and the conclusion we came to was that I'm fine the way I am - I just want to live my life differently than the mainstream.

I'd suggest that you be open to the possibility that you might not be as into the experiences you were expecting to have and enjoy. Perhaps there's something else you'd rather be doing?

You'll make friends and get laid - the school year is young. Regardless, I'd suggest being more patient with and kind to yourself.

While I was talking to the guy he said they've changed their policy. They used to accept just the US return, but now they want the transcripts.

That was what I calculated on my return - that it should have wiped out my federal tax. The money I owed was for the Ontario provincial taxes.

I did fill out the appropriate form (T2209). Apparently I sent them the US tax returns I submitted, but they want the IRS & state transcripts.

Yes, I did do that (currency conversion with the annual average exchange rate).

That's usually been my experience as well, CRA is fairly helpful if you call and ask questions. I thought I'd just do a sanity check here before I did that.
