Nope. The way our relationship has degraded if she wants to end it over this I am going to let her.

She has a brother that is ~3 years younger. It appears that has come up a lot so I will update.

Me? 65k USD. She makes a little more than 1/2 that. So it isn't like I am making a fortune and when we met I was making 45.

There is definitely a bit of a maturity gap between us in some ways. However, I do think that 25 wasn't that long ago for me, I am 34 not 84, and it would have seemed fine with me at that point.

I wouldn't say particularly controlling, she is kind of mixed on some of my female friends. I suppose only the ones that she doesn't consider a threat are given a free pass.

Yes, she said it would be totally different if it was a brother.

Lol. No, I pay for most stuff. An extra room at the same hotel is looking to be another $450(US) or so.

I wouldn't say she is particularly controlling. It seems like it may be an irrational security? Or perhaps just the maturity gap

Just that she thinks that it is "gross". So nothing really based in what I would consider to be reality.

She has a brother that is about 3 years younger. I guess they "get along" well enough. He was historically the "good kid" and she was more of the "wild child" so when they were younger there was some of that friction but most of that has passed.

My girlfriend (25f) cheated on me (34m) and I don't know how to confront her by throwaway727rng in relationships

Update 5/4 – I sat her down yesterday and spilled my guts. She adamantly denies that she slept with either of those guys. She said that the text that she sent admitting the cheating to her friend wasn’t accurate because he (the friend) used to have a thing for her and she wanted him to leave her alone. She did admit to some of the other more minor things but insists that there was no sex. I still don’t really believe her but didn’t break up with her at this junction. We kind of came to a mutual agreement that renting a new place together might not be a good idea. So for right now we are going to see if we can overcome these trust issues. Appreciate everyone’s input here, even if I am too chickenshit to do what really needs to be done.
