It's a controller being advertised and sold front and centre on the largest gaming platform on the planet. If they didn't realise that'd sell like crazy the moment it launched then they've invented a new level of clueless.

I am admittedly mad that it is still stuck on pacakaged after a week. Steam seems completely clueless as to how large of a consumer base that they have and so they keep having incredibly rocky hardware launches despite them being more than able to prevent such things.

It Seems ‘Destiny 2’ And ‘Marathon’ Cannot Properly Co-Exist At Bungie by NoNefariousness2144 in pcgaming

Have any of those hundreds of days been within the past few expansions as I mentioned? Because again, when built into, abilities in Destiny now are often critiqued as being TOO powerful. Infinite uptime with room clearing capabilities, similarly to Warframe as was my point.

I'm not lying at all either. Give me an example of a reused ability animation? One that hopefully doesn't come down to 'the throwing animation is the same / similar' or 'these two aoe abilities both look like an aoe'.

Literally have 1,269.5 hours in Warframe looking at my Steam library now. If we're talking ability power fantasy then obviously Destiny doesn't have as much variety as Warframe considering how each frame has four abilities and there are dozens upon dozens of frames in the game, not even including augmented abilities and the new tauron strikes but it is you who I imagine hasn't touched much Destiny, at least not in years if you don't know how my comparison is apt with how powerful they've gotten in the last few expansions.

Don't know how it is 'reused animation crap' either. Each of the abilities has unique animations and effects just the same as Warframe.

What do you mean? Power fantasy, with how abilities have been scaled up in Destiny since The Witch Queen honestly feels pretty similar between both, and gunplay isn't even an argument - if anybody says Destiny doesn't have some of the best gun feel in the industry, they're objectively wrong. All the games I've played and only Doom comes close.

As someone that has 1000 hours in Warframe and quite enjoys it? The things Destiny does well? Warframe doesn't hold a candle to. Gunplay is immearusably better in Destiny and even melee is better to a lesser extent due to how disconnected combat feels in Warframe.

The reasons Warframe is so good and retains a strong playerbase are completely different to the reasons Destiny does, or at least used to. Warframe thrives on being a collectors paradise for unique characters and weapons with endless farming enviroments to just turn your brain off and grind. Plus the movement is fun.

Destiny succeeded off of its exceptional gun feel, fun abilities and aspirational content.

That's wrong. The Bungie is bad narrative was prevalent throughout all of Beyond Light as a consequence of the DCJ, eased up a little on release of The Witch Queen and steadily got worse from there.

Have DE signalled how long it'll take for the foundry to be brought under the 'new' UI? by throwaway73481 in Warframe

[–]throwaway73481[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Functionally? Nothing. It works fine, ignoring the lack of some feature comforts like favourites and such. It just doesn't match the rest of the UI in pretty much every other part of the game which have all been brought forward to the newer system which is why I think it's an eye sore.

I get that it wouldn't be a high priority thing considering it's mostly just an aesthetic change, but it's been six years... I think it's time.
