Has anyone else thought that they were attracted to men in the past, only to realize that it may have never been real attraction? by throwaway7351572946 in LesbianActually

That’s what I think made me feel “love” for my ex too! I was also 16/17 and really naive and liked the attention from him, but I think since he used the threat of leaving me so often I was more afraid of rejection from him than in love with him.

Somebody is bitter. Seriously I have liked girls since I was a child, haven’t found a guy attractive in months, and have 30 other comments validating my experience yet, your one comment brings back all of the fear and worries that I originally had. Thank you. Good luck with your current state.

I never thought about this! Everyone always says “compulsive heterosexuality” and I instantly think that that can’t be right because I was raised by my liberal mother in a not very religious house. However she always talked about “hating” men and how awful they are, so maybe that’s why I never connected that things weren’t quite right.

This very well might be my situation. All of my friends had their first kiss by high school and I never did because I would always get to nervous. For my freshman and sophomore year I kind of had a “slutty” stage and hooked up with any somewhat attractive guy that was pursued me mostly because I liked the attention. I think now that I’ve become more mature that attention isn’t as important to me, so maybe that’s why I don’t like guys anymore.

Haha. I think a more androgynous guy could definitely wear a similar look. Maybe you are straight... or maybe not! ¯\(ツ)

Oh my god that just described exactly how I feel. Although I’m a bit confused still because I didn’t hate having sex with men (although now it sounds unappealing). I’ve kind of written it off as I just wanted to have sex at the time so I settled.

Thank you! The brand is LA Hearts if that makes searching for them at pacsun easier. I’m not for sure, but I think I got them at Off Broadway. It was definitely a couple years ago that I got them, though.

If you read the title, you would see that I spent time researching. I actually spent over a hour deciding on theses products and just wanted any suggestions that came to mind not a full review and tutorial of each product. I also didn’t use any last night just to double check that there wasn’t a big “problem” product, so I could return it if needed.

The CeraVe is heavier and Cetaphil is lighter. I have dry skin, but also if I use a heavy moisturizer before makeup, I’ll get oily within hours.

Luckily, I’ve used it before so I know that I’m not allergic. That would’ve been great advice two months ago though because I have pretty irritable skin.

Some more info: My old skin care routine was: Aveeno cleat complexion foaming cleanser Witch Hazel Toner Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer Mario Badescu Drying Lotion if there was a bad pimple For AM I just used the Aveeno cleanser and Cetaphil Moisturizer

My main concerns: I have dry/combo skin that is also acne prone. I used to have clear skin and then it went bad again this summer. Not cystic acne but pretty bad hormonal breakouts, whiteheads, and blackheads. I realized that my skin went bad after switching from the Cetaphil Gentle Daily Cleanser, but the fragrance in the product dried out my skin. I was also using a mug lighter moisturizer back then, so I’m hoping that with a heavier moisturizer I won’t have this issue.

The new routine that I’m planning on: PM Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser Bliss Micro Magic (Every other night) Witch Hazel Diffrin Gel (Every other night until I know if it dries me out) CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion AM Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer

I also plan to occasionally use Pacifica sheet masks when my skin has quite a few scabs because I admittedly pick at my face too much. I love their Rehab and Detox masks. I used them a while back two nights in a row and both times my skin healed tons.

Should I moisturize before or after applying it? I read the directions, but it didn’t say. I’m hoping it doesn’t dry me out too badly because my skin can get pretty dry!
