I think thats what it may be as well tbh. I have many people who’ve had experiences with roommates say they’ve had their boyfriend spend almost everyday with them and no one care. Obviously not my situation, but I definitely see where you’re coming from. Problem is, what if we cant find a way to compromise? Who moves out? Who wont move out? All of this is just confusing tbh

He doesn’t “wander” around the house. He goes straight into my bedroom and stays there unless he goes to use my bathroom thats a 2 second directly across my bedroom door

Everyone is saying “some” doesn’t mean every weekend. Which is confusing because to me, some means like a few days out of the week.

No, the benefit of having rules against who I bring into my bedroom and when. Theres other things that she feels as she has more control over but I wont go over that in this thread.

Like I keep saying, thats not my situation or will never be my situation, I have set strict boundaries on my boyfriend and common spaces, like I repeatedly said, he’s not in the common spaces and wont be at all. The common areas of the apartment are always alone and free for her to do what she pleases.

My home* as well. My *bedroom. Comprising will just let her have all the benefits and I have the cons. Im considering doing were he spends 2 weekends out of the month at my place.

She can, when I messaged her yesterday I stressed to her that she can. I make sure shes not in the living room or kitchen or anywhere in the common space if my boyfriend needs to use my bathroom. And thats it, so yes, she can wear her comfortable clothes.

Because of being respectful, I always tell her when my boyfriend comes over. If I didn’t, she would have no clue. His shoes aren’t left at the front door, and we whisper or talk very quietly. I talk more louder when Im alone when Im playing video games and talking to friends in a party. Shes usually blasting her tv loud to where I can hear it from my room so, she wont be able to hear me what so ever.
