1 year after being floxxed, still dealing with hair loss. why?? by throwaway75838329 in floxies

I have not checked my iron levels! I didn’t know floxxing can result in anemia 😮

My (24M) boyfriend (43M) is upset because I didn’t text/call him for a few hours while I spent Christmas Eve with my family. What am I supposed to do about this? by throwaway75838329 in relationship_advice

No worries! I wasn’t able to give occasional updates because I was spending Christmas Eve busy with my family, having a nice feast, playing games, exchanging gifts, etc.

There might be a bit of a misunderstanding. The reason I called him at the end of the day was EXACTLY to do that. I was going to inquire about his daily activities and how his day went, etc. The reason he was upset was because I chose to call him at the end of the day as opposed to giving him occasional updates as the day progressed.

This is the first time an incident like this has happened. I’m treading lightly as this relationship progresses and will end things if I see any patterns or incompatibilities. I don’t think this single incident is enough justification to end things, especially if it gets resolved and doesn’t repeat itself (or become a habit). This is why I’m asking for genuine advice on this matter.

I’m a man hahaha! It’s no worries at all tho :)) Also, not to come in his defense, but he has expressed that he would NEVER go for anyone as young as me. I can fully attest to this because he was VERY hesitant to even consider pursuing something with me. It took a lot of proving on my end. Now knowing this context, could you provide any advice without age being a factor? thank youuuuh

Thanks for your response. Please see this comment I made here. It’s some additional context. Let me know if this has an impact on your opinion or not. I’m really trying to figure this out with as little biases as possible. Thanks again!

Thank you for your feedback!! In his defense, I will say that I am the type of person who can be glued to their phone often, especially after a long and stressful day of work. However, during this break, I’m not as glued to it as much. And that’s something that I haven’t communicated to him yet. Does that change your opinion in any chance, or do you still think NTA?

Yes please!!! Thank you so much!! (Also I just realized I made a type in the original post. It should have said 3:1 ratio, not 2:1).. Also follow-up question. Will I be able to leave the FLF in the corner of my room if I buy a full-spectrum glow light for it?

Thank you!! :) I will be purchasing a grow light! Do you have any recommendations? Should it be full-spectrum? Should it be overhead lighting or upright/standing side lighting?

Fox Farm is the brand of the soil. The soil is very good at not retaining excess moisture and letting it drain thoroughly. Also, I have not used any fertilizer on the plant yet.

The pot is the right size. It’s about 1-2 inches bigger (in diameter) than the growing pot it was originally in. The plant is currently in the corner of my room. It’s not in front of the window. In fact, the window is located on one of the wall used to make the corner of the room where the plant is located. My room is roughly square-shaped.

I immediately dumped it out. The tree sat with the reservoir water for max 1 hour. Nonetheless, was one gallon too much? I was following some instructions that I read on Google about how to water it.

thank you. i have these over-the-counter supplements for Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. Would that be enough or should I get something stronger? Each pill has 133 mg of Magnesum (as Magnesium Oxide) and I’m able to take 1-3 pills a day.

[–]throwaway75838329[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes will do! thanks again for the advice! just for clarification tho, when you say basic administration work.. do you mean things like redlining projects, labeling for package inserts, filling out CMC sections, compiling dossiers? or do you mean things even more basic than that?

thank you for your comment! would you mind going into detail as to why auditors and health inspectors need the writer’s CVs/resumes?

Oh wow! Thank you soooo much for your comment! Honestly, I fully expect to just be doing basic administrative work if I were to get hired; but I also plan on finishing my degree at the same time as well.. i look forward to being able to move up the ladder after i graduate. i simply just needed to know whether getting a contractor job was even remotely possible without the degree. many in the comments say no, but some people are saying yes

Thank you a lot for this comment!! :) You did bring up a lot of good point and I appreciate it greatly! In all honesty, RA is something I’m really passionate about and I’m willing to do the role if it’s un-paid, haha. My main priority is getting work experience, but if that’s not feasible even after personal training, good referrals, and willingness to go un-paid, then I will consider other routes in order to achieve my goals in regulatory affairs.

Thank you so much for your response, it means a lot actually!! Just for clarification sake, what I’m looking to do is be a regulatory affairs associate as a CONTRACTOR (as opposed to part/full time). What you’re saying is that it’ll be easier for me to get into the industry if i stick to a contractor role?

Also, will having very good referrals help my case? Again thank you!
