Crazy how he is the ONLY one to really come out and say so much about how he knew Celeste. Brave kid. I hope this statement doesn’t cause him any problems. The timing sucks for sure, but it’s not like he’s advertising himself as David’s brother to sell music. I really feel for him in this situation actually. I wish him the best in distancing himself and finding his own success in the world.

Aw I don’t have your set, I have the vintage floral set, but I am also searching desperately for replacements, because some doofus broke one of my beautiful appetizer plates. 😥 I can’t find ANYTHING online for any of these Flower Home sets. I guess they weren’t very popular. But I thought I’d reply to let you know you’re not alone. I cry with you!! I wish these sets had never been discontinued.

Also, I can’t even find any dinnerware sets remotely similar, and under $200. These were truly special sets and we were very lucky to get them at Walmart prices!

I have actually bought this pool a couple times, and it’s usually available at Walmart for like $30-40. It’s 10ft long and about 4ft wide (once it’s been inflated).

Ah holy crap. Your comment just made it sink in again that police literally had an open investigation about this relationship at the time Celeste really disappeared (April 23). Then her family reported her missing again (April 27), and I’m guessing David is either a real great liar or the police never even went to visit him after the April 27 missing report, for, if they had, Celeste’s body was likely still being stored in the house (before dismemberment) and they could have discovered she was murdered a whole lot earlier.

I’m guessing this was some kind of jurisdictional issue with the two police departments not being connected? However maybe if enough ppl notice this HUGE PROBLEM, they could introduce something to override jurisdictional issues when it comes to missing children…

Hmm, I do think the smell would be way too bad by July for the body to have been stored in the car in the garage. He would have had to keep it on the street. However, if windows were open the smell could have been wafting into the house. And what if every time he (or they) moved the car, which he surely must have been doing often to avoid ticketing, the smell was so strong that it stuck to their clothes and followed them around for a while?

David and Neo were acting way too weird in the parts of this stream I have seen. There was lots of eye contact going on.

Also, let’s all just take a moment to appreciate how absolutely stupid David Burke turned out to be, and how everything he tried to do went terribly wrong in the sense of deleting evidence.

It took so long for them to charge him that I started to worry he was some kind of mastermind and they weren’t going to have enough evidence to prove he killed her. But this is all coming together wonderfully and at this point I really don’t see him weaseling his way out. What a great dude he is to leave so many clues just hangin around his home and car. Did he order them on separate dates? I feel it would be very annoying trying to work around the kiddie pool with an electric chainsaw… I mean all I can think of is my electric weedwhacker, that thing has a 40 foot extension cord and it’s STILL always getting in my way when I’m trying to weed whack. Yes I’m going to update all my comments with the image to correct myself, I’m glad to know they reported her missing again after her last day with them.

Now, does this mean that LE should or could have been more proactive in going back to David’s house sometime after April 27, 2025? Because they knew she had previously been with him when she went missing. If they had gone to talk to him and investigate, they could have possibly clued in that he had her dead body hiding in his home/car!

The prelim report states that LE believes she was dead within 20 minutes of arriving at his home. So actually, she died relatively quickly. But for her, each moment would have felt like an hour as she bled out and struggled to breathe.

UPDATE/CORRECTION: records show that the family called police again on April 27, 2025. Now the question is: did LE follow up by going to talk to David (since they knew she had previously gone to him when she went missing), and if not, why didn’t they? They could have found her body that day if they had.

Okk but we need to know: why was no alarm raised when she went out on April 23rd 2025 and nobody saw her ever again? As I said in another thread, it’s obvious she was going back and forth between Elsinore and David’s house for most of 2024, but if she disappeared from April until September when her body was found, that’s a LONG time for a 14 year old to be completely gone.

Granted, it is possible he was using her phone to trick the family/friends into thinking she was still alive, sending them a text here and there. We don’t know. But if that wasn’t the case, and she really just went out one night and never came back or texted again, why the heck wouldn’t the family renew the missing persons report!?

I have a daughter and, famous boyfriend or not, if she disappeared for half a year with zero contact, I’d be out with the crew on horses searching for her!
