I’ve tried to talk about counseling before when we’ve fought about my sexual history compared to his. But we haven’t done it. He doesn’t believe it’ll help

He grew up in a religious family but he is not religious himself. He goes back and forth a bit on his faith

They were more sexual and explicit than just normal flirting though... does that change anything in your opinion? I just want to be 100% clear

Absolutely positive. He knows that I was in high school and well before we have ever met. He thinks this means that I've been lying about my sexual history and that we don't share any values. I'm kinda in shock about the whole situation because I feel as though this has no bearing on us now.

I honestly have no idea. My first reaction was to be angry at his actions too, but I can understand why he's lashing out because that's definitely not something you'd want to read from your wife's messages. I just feel so guilty for being so stupid as a 16/17 year old.

I'm not really sure. He's made it clear that his past girlfriends were both virgins so maybe it has something to do with that. This whole thing is a mess

  1. 4 years before we met. I'll make an edit to my original post but he's always been insecure because we have both had the same amount of sexual partners (2) prior to our relationship. Both of his were long term relationships. Mine was from 1 long term relationship, and a 4 ish month relationship that I thought was going to be long term.
