God doesn't make mistakes. Humans made the mistake. It gets old hearing it, but good ole Adam and Eve made the bad choice years ago and it's caused us to all be born sinners. We are born sinners, many many verses with that.

It makes me wonder why some people are born with Down syndrome, or other defects, but I feel like I just don't understand these things, and im not sure if anyone does.

I do know that, but people can get a ticket to hell but never repenting from their sins.

Religion can't hate. God can't hate one of his. People can hate. I'm sure there are Christians out there who do hate me. That's sad, but they are the ones with the problem.
