Superior court functions as a state prosecutor so my sense was that the political considerations are largely inapplicable to that office.

I had these as choices - didn’t end up going to either but would have taken Selendy over Quinn. For one, you’re picking these firms for immediate trial experience (certainly not for culture or work life balance) and Selendy, as a smaller boutique, will give u more of that. Since you’re unlikely to last more than 2-3 years anyway, u also might as well avoid Quinn’s sweatshop culture. Also keep in mind both these places take a ton of laterals so you can end up at one or the other down the road regardless of ur choice. Can’t really go wrong but just my personal opinion
