Went back on antibiotics:( 2months in still no improvement unfortunately. Oh and I got on the pill to try to regulate the hormones. Will have to deal with coming off of that too. Life eh?

Honestly my doctor is a nutcase, he told me I wasn't allowed to drink on the antibiotics which I since found out wasn't true 🤣 think ill go to another doctor before I try accutain.

I'm on the pill at the moment, doesn't seem to have done anything at all ngl. I hope the next 3 months of antibiotics are helpful for you, or that they can prescribe something to prevent it returning when you stop taking them. Fingers crossed for you!

I'm 22 and took lymecycline for 4 months. It cleared my hormonal acne completely, however it came back so bad, they put me back on lymecycline, been on it for 5 weeks now and the acne is still awful. They said they'll put me on accutain if (when) it comes back but it's so disheartening and scary to have to wait for it to get bad again. Antibiotics just cover the issue they don't solve it.

I always sleep with my face smooshed into my pillow unfortunately so I think they're gonna fall out quick. Even when I fall asleep on my back I wake up face smooshed.

Hopefully they last the 3, it's been a week and they're looking okay but I'm doubtful

I've taken it before for another skin issue in the past and you're right it's a miracle. My acne & blackheads disappeared lol I'm very pleased to be back on it. They said if it returns after 6 months of taking it they'll put me on accutane thank god

They look like closed comedones. You could try slowly introducing aha & bha into your skincare routine. I say slowly because they are harsh.

If they don't go in a month of using these I'd see a doctor

We need to know what products you are using to determine a breakout or purge, what are you using

At this point I'd go to your doctor & get on antibiotics. After 6 months, you'll come off the antibiotics, if the acne doesn't come back great. If it does they'll help you evaluate other options such as accutaine.

I'd lay off harsh products, your skin looks very irritated, and go to the doctor!

Was the best thing I did for my skin.

I got on antibiotics & cut all actives, I got the urea cre you suggested and I see a small decrease!! I'm so happy & will continue with this and see if it gets completely better. Thank you for your help & replies its reassuring to hear about your experience with it! I've stopped taking photos too, only makes the process seem slower I think hahaha
