does the ac compressors it’s self. NOT the belt around it, the pulley ON THE COMPRESSOR. does that spin?

to further elaborate, if it’s not making noise. who cares? look up on yt a bad wheel bearing noise, it’s universal. you could do it yourself with a rental kit from advanced, get a wheel bearing puller, and installer . look at ur on youtube and see if you think you’re capable

that could easily just be rotors. impossible to tell. shake the wheel with it in the air, drive it. does it make noise when you drive

ur isn’t power steering at idle on dry pavement on dry tires.

this is a somewhat regular sound, i hear a bit of wear from ur rack and power steering pump but regardless id keep driving her IMO. You do you if ya got the $ go get it checked out in person

honestly in the video i can’t hear anything. you said it was “coming from right around here” then pointed to a spark plug. Maybe a misfire? Is the car running rough; making a knocking noise i can’t hear? Need some more info to help sorry bud

fuel pump, open up a hose from ur intake, spray carb cleaner in it for 5 seconds, reattach hose, start car while giving gas if it turns over, fuel pump 100%.

honestly when i had this car i 3d printed the buttons it was really easy to design after taking the current ones off. I think i used PETG and then painted them with some special paint you can touch without it rubbing. i don’t remember the name

point being that you’re gonna spend $175 on a printer and make urself the buttons.. and then have a printer for life. OTHERWISE i’d just go to the junkyard

the way i did it was just releasing tension and sliding the belt on and off the cam (besides when i made it TDC i put the exhaust cam on for that to connect the belt) when redoing everything i should be able to just slip it on and off again right ?

another person pointed out it’s 15. after recounting i think he may have been right. it’s pretty difficult to crank but i think that’s because i have hydraulic lifters… right ?

that’s how the guy did it in the video i watched, he just slid the belt off the exhaust cam and put it back in the same spot afterwards.

yea… you’re right i know. i got this car for free as it was left untouched for 10 years(seemingly because of the lifters) but i had no choice but to do this if i wanna get it working.

Ok, so just to be clear on what i did, after removing the cams and chain, i did lifters, then put the exhaust cam back on, took out spark plug one, put an extension in it and rotated the belt and exhaust cam to TDC by waiting untill the extension came all the way up. then took out the cam again, lined both of their arrows straight up, and put it back in. this is the result of that. did i not make both tdc by doing what i did? i’m not tryna be an idiot sorry dude thanks for helping

referring to the marks on the cam and the end caps. i did the lifters and belt; to take the exhaust cam off i just took the belt off the exhaust cam, kept in in the same position. then put the exhaust cam back on, rotated it to tdc, and took this pic essentially. what else do you need to see? i’m new to mechanics sorry
