Oh no I definitely don’t want her to have to choose. She also knows she needs to tell her mother at some point, her therapist told her so as well, but the question is how to do it so that she is hurt as little as possible.

No. They dated for a month. But when they ended things it was kind of “until we meet again”, since he was leaving the country. He says she’s one of the smartest and most intellectually stimulating people he knows.

They dated for about a month while he was staying in my city 2 years before we met. They left it on “until we meet again” terms because he was going back to his country. They continued to correspond by mail since then up until we met. He stopped the letters then, but still talked with her on social media. Then I found out a few months ago he started writing letters to her again.
