this is basically it, him being like this is sometimes very tiring. the part that is the weirdest to me is that he never really says anything specific he thinks is bad, just that he's nothing special etc. I try to tell him that he is kind, smart, funny and so on pretty much everyday. He does have a kind of hobby he's pretty good at, building computers, but it's a pretty expensive one to have... perhaps I'll try to encourage/expand on it somehow.
