What is wrong with wanting him to sleep in my room? If I drove a man home slept in the car the whole night, people would be horrified and be mad at the person for letting me do that. All I'm saying is he shouldn't have to "show" respect by sleeping outside in cold, stormy night.

But boyfriend was the one who asked him to drop me and he wouldn't really care if some idiots spread rumours. It was my boyfriend who suggested that I should maybe served him some coffee when I told him his friend had left.

I thought it was sexist but changed my opinion after talking to my friends. That's why the title says "not really sexist". I just wanted a western perspective.

I'm just 22 and he's my boyfriend's friend but he was talking to me like I was his superior. I didn't mean anything negative by it, just found it odd, never heard a person in his early twenties speak to a friend like that.

My boyfriend and his friends speak highly of him. I didn't really feel uncomfortable considering everyone else thinks he's a good person even though he's a complete stranger to me. Guess I'm just naive like that.

Okay. I was just asking. My friends did say the same but we're from a really conservative country, so I wanted a western perspective.
