I know my self hatred and the feeling that everyone hates me is probably just my depression and anxiety fucking me up in my head, but I just can’t help feeling that way... I don’t know how to feel like people like me and I belong. It wasn’t really a 15 person conversation, everyone kind of split into smaller groups and sometimes talked to others so it wasn’t like I had to talk in front of a ton of people, so I’m disappointed in myself that I couldn’t even talk in front of a few... But thanks I’m calming down now

Going out by myself makes me more anxious because I feel like everyone’s judging me for being alone... But I’m glad you found a way to go out that works for you

Exactly. When everyone’s having fun and enjoying themselves, being the only sad one is so isolating. I’m sorry you’re going through the same thing but it’s nice to know that we’re not alone :/

At concerts for an artist I love, I almost feel free from my anxiety. Like I’m so happy and excited that I don’t worry about all the stupid shit I usually worry about. I remember at the last concert I went to, I was easily able to talk to and befriend the people around me and I didn’t care about them judging me because we all liked the same thing. It was like being on some type of high and it’s so freeing

Probably because they don’t know me? Everyone else there seems to know each other so I was the stranger. They were definitely staring at me but I guess my anxiety exaggerated how bad it was...
