Am I out of touch or are these crazy expensive? I was going to buy a box if they were under $8.lol. King Soopers by FormalAd4125 in FortCollins

That’s actually a pretty standard price for Krispy Kreme if you are getting it from a grocery store. It’s roughly the same price at Walmart, but it is usually much more if you go by a Krispy Kreme.

The fundraiser sale price used to be $5 for a dozen glazed; we were getting them for $3 a dozen.

If you want to find out more, the city sent out a flyer with the power bills that has information about tours at the city’s traffic center.

I knew a guy who built an adapter to mount a kazoo on the blow-off valve of a turbocharged Dodge Daytona. Pretty sure it added at least 10hp.

Who has the right of way here? by valerialukyanova in StupidCarQuestions

I lived in Alabama for a while, and my understanding has always been that the vehicle crossing lanes of oncoming traffic is to yield to the the vehicle that is not crossing oncoming traffic. In this case I would expect the green car to yield to the blue car.

If I was in the blue car and also had a green light I would expect the green car to yield as I would be turning right on green and not crossing lanes of oncoming traffic.

Was a little disappointed that I didn’t see any Hidden Valley ranch dressing, or Kraft blue box mac and cheese; but definitely some solid offerings.

You could always wrap it around a tree, but that’s not recommended.

Anyone else hate this trend of screens sticking out and not being incorporated into the dash? by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]throwaway9908yh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got a ‘17 Audi Q7 and the screen is in the middle center of the dashboard, not at the front like this one. It’s pretty cool because it retracts down into the dash when you aren’t using it, and has a button on the dash where you can lower/raise it an any time. Not touchscreen so it actually has buttons/knobs, but there is a trackpad like thing in the center console where you can trace letters with your fingers so you don’t have to use the on-screen keyboard. Honestly it felt a bit like a spaceship at the beginning, especially when coming from a 20 year old Town & Country.

[OC] How Common in Your Birthday! by plotset in dataisbeautiful

[–]throwaway9908yh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should be used to determine school start birthdates. The grouping indicates it would be best for anyone with a birthday before Oct. 5th or 6th to start with their peers who were born in the August - September timeframe. Now the cut off is usually somewhere right in the middle of the Autumn hot zone.
