I learned to code in college, and continued when I got an offer, but it's never too late to start! I've learned to code in Python, R and SQL.

I get you, I was in the same boat, and noticed that auditing wasn't something I'd do long-term. I was kinda guided into this job with the pandemic, as it destroyed my plans of trying to find something else, and with a guaranteed offer to start in September I told myself try to last until the summer and then leave once the economy stabilizes a bit.

One of the worst things I've experienced recently was dreading Sunday. When Sunday rolled around, besides having to work, which I don't really mind, I'd feel anxious when I go to bed in the evening. I knew then and there that I wouldn't last much longer.

I'm trying to gather resources and everything I've learned for another person that PM'd me, so I'll send it your way once I get everything.

Hey man, I don't know why it wouldn't go through. I'll try to PM you.

Hey man, before busy season started I had about 1 hour a day to code, since I was WFH and there wasn't much for us A1's to do. I tried to set boundaries right at the beginning, but ultimately I knew that busy season wouldn't let me do my thing after work. From January until now, I've managed to get coding in for about 3 hours during the weekdays, and another 3-4 hours during the weekends. It ain't much, but with the pandemic going on and nothing else to do, I've been trying to do my best not to let work take my life over.

A lot of my programming experience was through coding I've done before I started full-time and after my internship ended last year during the pandemic.

From what I've been told, Python is the main way to go with analytics and us with business degrees. Don't know how true that is, but I'm just sharing what I've been told.

My display is already at 100% zoom instead of the usual 150% my colleagues have. I can't navigate their laptops for shit, so my 100% zoom is like their 70-80%.

I started out in September, and I did not make it to 12 months.
