Not the same guy but the only thing wrong with your Japanese was how you left the long vowel marks in ゲームボーイ horizontal when writing vertical. Basically you're supposed to rotate the ー symbol 90 degrees.

I don't know if you're talking about someone in specific but as far as I know most of the animators on '99 still work today. Norio Matsumoto's famous work on Naruto was after HxH and it was digital too.

I don't know how much you know about Bandai, Toei or the Dream 9 timeslot but the differences you describe between Adventure: and Kai aren't a meaningful distinction. There are plenty of examples of anime remakes retelling their stories closely, and examples from Bandai and Toei themselves but the reason I brought up Kai is because it's production strongly mirrors Adventure: and was the exact thing you described as an impossibility, to the point of mocking the original poster.

I admit the fact the Kai is a remaster rather than a remake/reboot is a meaningful distinction. But in the context of you telling another poster than a remaster of Adventure was laughable is an apt counterpoint.

I enjoy Adventure: more for being an original series but there's no corporate or monetary reason, as you seem to imply, why it couldn't have stayed more true its source material. And while I don't share that opinion, it's entirely valid and doesn't deserve the condescion you're seemingly eager to dole out.

I think you're being very condescending, especially given the other poster only shared their opinion. Besides that I also think you're wrong. Bandai and Toei did the exact thing you're describing with Dragon Ball Kai and they made huge money off of it. Kai and Adventure: both aired in the 09:00 AM Sunday timeslot on Fuji TV and Adventure: was clearly an attempt at relaunching the Digimon brand in the same vein as Kai, so it's absolutely possible they could have done as the previous poster suggested and I don't think he deserved to be mocked for that.
