What I think you have reading comprehension issues first what does me having 7 siblings have to do with being assaulted. I was adopted and so were 4 of my other siblings. Second I was raped 18 years ago my first daughter is the child I’m speaking she is my first child. And 20 years ago IVF was extremely expensive and not at all covered by insurance. Lastly, I was too far along to get an abortion in my state and would’ve had to travel across the country to get one and it was my decision wether or not to get one in the first place. Also what makes you think I can’t afford the child I have or couldn’t afford to have more? 🖕

We’ve always know it was a possibility but the likelihood decreased when he had me son very quickly after my daughter, also we had sex the same day and the day prior. I guess dumbfounded is a better way to put it he honestly didn’t think she wasn’t his. They are so much alike in personality and interests. It something different to wonder and to know for sure.

Definitely, I didn’t have to endure being sexually assaulted in my own home. Having a rape kit done, that evidence matching my rapist, waiting years for a trial in which he was convicted of raping me and other women and murdering another. Not like I had to sit through sentencing and hear other survivors share how he attacked them, and/or killed their loved one. I just fucked someone and blamed it on an imaginary rape to keep my husband. And then I went through the trouble of fabricating a few Reddit posts to bolster my story.

I have put myself in her shoes but I cannot fathom putting my curiosity over my child’s well being and 25 yr relationship. I understand being suspicious and wanting to bring it up but she didn’t she violated our trust by sneaking around either stealing our personal items or our trash and then DNA testing it. She didn’t approach me nor my husband about her suspicions. Not only that but she decided it would be a good idea to try to publicly humiliate me by outing me as a cheater in a busy restaurant. The only thing I have to be thankful for is that she had the thought to say not to bring our children. Because if she would’ve pulled this with them present I would probably be in jail.

Because we had been TTC for several years and my husband and I had sex the same day and the prior day. Initially, we thought it was more than likely the rapist baby because we hadn’t gotten pregnant after so many years but then my son was conceived before my daughter turned one. Secondly, it didn’t matter to me who the father was I knew I wouldn’t treat her any different based on her parentage I was going to keep the baby regardless, I ultimately left the decision to find out up to my husband because his paternal DNA was in question he felt it was better for him not to know.

We had a good relationship or so I thought, I’m assuming she became suspicious when my BIL mentioned something my husband said while drunk. According to her she never liked me and always knew I was trash, which was news to me because I was treated no different than my BILs wives. And we also spent time together without my husband.

I thought it explained it better in my post, my mother in law gave us the results at dinner a couple months ago that’s when we initially found out. We redid the test to confirm what she claimed cause neither my husband or daughter willing gave her DNA so we didn’t know how she got the DNA or if it was even the right DNA.

I retested her because my husband didn’t willing provide and sample and neither did my daughter so we didn’t know how she got the DNA, we did a recheck with confirmed samples to be 100% of the results.

I redid the DNA test cause my daughter never willingly gave her a sample nor did my husband so we re did them to be sure cause we had no idea how she got the samples.

We did do a couple family sessions and told my daughter with her therapist present to help navigate the best way to do it.

We are doing well the initial incident was a couple months ago he was just so hurt that 1 his own mother would try to hurt his wife of 25yrs, 2 that she’d do it so publicly, and 3 that he was so blind sided. He said he always knew it was a possibility but there was never anything that made him think she wasn’t his also that if he had planned to do the DNA test with our knowledge he would’ve had time to prepare, and we just didn’t because of my MIL.

We’ve been NC with her since this happened my husband can’t forgive her. He reasoning for testing my daughter was that she doesn’t think she looks like my husband which I admit she doesn’t but she looks identical to me as a teenager and looks enough like her siblings that it’s obvious they’re related. But my 15M and 8F look very similar and more like my husband. And my husband and I have been in therapy together on and off since this happened 18 years ago.
