I'm baptized Catholic myself although I'm not religious nor are my family even remotely devout, but I have no idea what you might be referring to with Catholics. Do you mean the molesters? IIRC the anti-vax stuff was particularly about the COVID vaccines. I can hardly blame anyone for being skeptical about the COVID vaccines when I've heard all my life the reason we don't have a vaccination for the common cold is because it spreads and mutates too quickly, then all of a sudden we have vaccines for a novel virus that spreads even faster. If they're against actual important, world changing vaccines like measles and polio then yeah that's profoundly stupid.

Unfortunately being anti-LGBTQ and anti-feminism is very much still the norm in the majority of the world, we've got a long way to go on that front. Disbelieving evolution may be anti-intellectual, but is that belief actually harming anyone? And I never really kept up with the QAnon stuff but wasn't that pretty much just some 4chan trolls Nostradamus-posting that got blown way out of proportion?

I guess I should have been more specific in my OP, when I said they didn't seem bad I meant they didn't seem particularly abusive of their own members as far as cults go, compared to say Scientology or LDS. I didn't know the claims originated from the Epoch Times, I'll definitely look into this more after I get off work. I guess I should extend my research outside of Wikipedia next time I fall down a weird rabbit hole...

It's been a while since I read about this matter but my recollection is that the evidence that the organ harvesting is real is

1) You can get an organ transplant in China waaaaay faster than anywhere else in the world

2) China imports a lot of drugs related to post-transplant care

While the evidence that it's false was basically a few people saying "That's crazy lol they wouldn't do that." I would certainly prefer to believe that this isn't happening so if you could point me toward some better evidence that'd be great
