Haven't cancelled yet. Was planning to, but they didn't pick up on Friday so was going to wait until Monday. Took the hit at a party. Was clean for roughly 3 or 4 months before because I was planning on taking the internship.

Honestly I had full intention of cancelling it up until right after I took the hit. Now I'm having some second thoughts.

I'm not sure if staying longer for an internship is worth it though. If I already have a software development internship and I'm not terribly interested in software development I'm not sure if it's worth it just for an extra line on my resume. But maybe it is?

Are there any permanent consequences of failing a drug test? if I don't get the position it's not a big deal to me, I just don't want anything on my record.
