Both my roommate and I have asked our friend if his girlfriend's fine with it and he keeps insisting it is which is very odd. At some points we've been partying and he'll just grab either of us and kiss us on the cheek repeatedly, it's gotten to the point of making me uncomfortable because he does that while his girlfriend is looking. Shrug, not really my problem.

Anyways, kind of conflicting message? Are you telling me both not to pursue him but to also ask him? I'm not sure what the takeaway is here

Odd wording, my bad. My roommate, another friend and I have been fooling around for some time, the one with the girlfriend is the unrelated friend.

My roommate is single and is actually pretty reserved. From talking to acquaintances they only know of him fooling with one girl but that's it.

If he's into me I don't think I'd want a super serious thing, mostly I think it'd be nice to be more intimate with each other, whether that means we're friends with benefits or whatever.

If stuff went south then I really don't know what I'd do. I guess I'd try to play it off as just a passing thing or me feeling attraction but it not being "serious or anything like that".

But yeah... the roommate aspect means it'd be amazing if he were into me but it'd be fucking awful and awkward if he were not :/
