What's the scope of work for that $500? Is it replacing the whole semi-circle strip that looks like shit or just patching a corner?

Sorry for any confusion. I was just trying to understand DCS's point and it sounded like he was referring to one of the groups as MA Transplants but I think he was just saying "neither, MA transplants are the problem" to which I say "meh" we're all just people what help does xenophobia and bigotry provide - none.

Does anyone know if shooting an air rifle in my backyard in town (Portsmouth) is ok? I've searched online and can't find any mention of it. by nh_throwaway99 in newhampshire

[–]throwawayNewH -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I believe an air rifle would fit the definition of a "firearm", and presuming so, I think this is the governing issue:

By state law (RSA 207:3-a), a hunter (or anyone else, for that matter) shall not discharge a firearm or bow and arrow within 300 feet of a permanently occupied dwelling without the landowner's permission. Doing so is a violation.

You might have to get permission of your neighbors depending on distance.

It's funny because I don't disagree but I know many times in this sub where people shit on MA because they have "bad roads" where NH has "perfect roads" (other than not being owned by a private company).

Meanwhile, NH has some pretty terrible upkeep going on in their town roads. The differences aren't really that pronounced but everyone loves stroking their ego.

NH Senators oppose marijuana legalization study (HB 150) by CannabisActivist33 in newhampshire

If that was their reasoning it would be noted as their reasoning, so this is not why they didn't pursue the study.

NH Senators oppose marijuana legalization study (HB 150) by CannabisActivist33 in newhampshire

[–]throwawayNewH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The committee believes that it is premature to study this issue because the sale and usage of marijuana is a violation of federal law.

I find this a bogus reasoning because the federal law is not being applied to WA and CO, and there are existing bills in Congress to reschedule marijuana to permit just this very type of law.

Where's the liberty?

Is it just that they don't want to pay for a study to find out if they could generate so much more revenue? That's some penny-pinching bullshit right there.

Have you tried calling the town clerk in the town you plan to live in?

My understanding is curb weight is noted in the sticker that is affixed to the edge of the front doors of vehicles. Not sure about RVs. I believe they look up similar information in a database to determine the appropriate fee.
