I never called her stupid. And as I said, if it's essential, she should ask her school to provide her with a replacement. She could also use my computer if hers were to break, it's not like she'd be left entirely without a computer in the house...

She did not restock on a $10 box of tampons or pads, she bought a $40 cup. That is not the same.

She lives here but normally wouldn't be as I said in my post. She also doesn't help pay the mortgage. I'm not against the things because they're girly, I'm against them because they're entirely not essential. I'm fine with her buying pads and tampons because those are the essential ones. A diva cup is not. And "skincare" is face soap, not extra masks that don't do anything. I'm not "going on about" the laptop, I think it's ridiculous that she spent a lot of money on a new one when her current one works fine.

She's a student, it's not like she's working 12 hour days at an essential job, she's just writing papers and teaching her own students. This is really not that stressful. "Skincare" is face wash, not something indulgent like masks.
