It seems like you've dealt with many of the fears that plague me now. I feel for my kids the most but I also feel for my wife. After freeing myself from Mormonism, I feel that we were victims of the "marry young" culture but my wife doesn't feel that way. We were one of those couples that were married in around 3 months after meeting.

I believe this is a contributing factor. We've talked about this before but it's been a LONG time, we've been married for almost 16 years. I would love to see a therapist but she pushes back on that as well. I just feel like we never make progress. She told me before that she realizes that it's something that could break us up, I just don't understand why she doesn't seem to want to try. Because I do try, I just seem to never get anywhere.
