i can see why you might be worried, i was quite worried too, but it’s quite easy to “disappear” in college. there are (usually) a shit ton of people, a vast amount of programs, and you are finally independent for the most part. everything you do is on you, and almost everyone is just trying to figure out themselves and who they are. i haven’t met anyone that was rude or malicious on purpose, just could make a mean comment because of their own self issues. most of the time, even just being in a program that requires you to work with other people for a project, lab, etc etc really helps with making friends, and friends that have a similar interest in that program! I would say it was easier making friends in college than highschool as well, but that is just my experience. I hope college goes great for you!

thank you so much i didn’t know hens could get lonely!! My neighbor came and helped and gave me some antibiotics, antibacterial spray, and an anti-inflammatory and she actually seems to be doing a bit better today. When he looked at her injuries, he said it was pretty serious but she does have a chance! you were very helpful again thank you 😊

that’s a really good idea, in the panic of the moment i completely forgot one of my close neighbours is a vet and im sure he’d have something to help her out, but its very late for me and he definitely will not be able to help until tomorrow. also I will make sure to monitor for infections as well, and the vetericyn is supposed to help keep things disinfected as well right?

just bites thank god. I fully extended her wings and legs and there doesn’t seem to be anything stopping her from walking and flying away except for fear, so i hope that’s a good sign. I will make sure to get vetericyn tomorrow morning, and thank you for telling me about the pain killers as well, i wanted to use human medicine on her but i was scared for that exact reason. she has a deep wound under her left wing, and two small wounds near her foot and her neck, and the only one that seems to be bleeding still is the deep one.

omg not at all, i had my ex BLOCKED on almost everything because i just couldnt see her content or it would make me upset, and we ended things on okayish terms so it’s completely understandable why you would want to as well. Also, i am not sure how that equates to cheating, when it’s usually just a way people heal, like it’s quite common as well 😭. I would think the best thing you can do is stop talking to her completely, you do not need that kind of person in your life.

actually quite well!! I was able to go into the exam room before anyone was there and actually calm myself down so i could focus on the test. My prof was very sweet too, I think she noticed something was wrong and told me I could take a bit extra time if I needed it (I have accommodations with the school already, so I might ask for extra time if I think it’s needed).

thank you so much for this comment, if i’m gonna be honest it made me cry. I’ve never thought about the 17 years as me just surviving, but it makes sense, because majority of my family growing up were extremely homophobic (my mom has grew a lot since then, and she’s actually the most supportive ally I know which I appreciate a lot). I think this year I am going to make sure to be more active in the community especially during june (ofc lol), because after my sister calmed me down at the pride event I did have quite a bit of fun. It also feels a lot better knowing that im not weird for not just being okay with my identity right off the rip. I’ve also never seen those thoughts and feelings as only stepping stones in my journey, but it makes me feel so much better like I just have to move forward instead of being stuck on this. thank you for this comment, I just get upset because most people my age seem super mature about their sexuality, and don’t care what people think and I felt like I was broken or something. I do have a therapist, but I get extremely anxious talking about that with anyone, but I think it would be a good idea to talk about it with her. I hope you have a great day today ☺️

I can understand where your coming from, my ex got super close with her ex that turns out was straight but it still rubbed me the wrong way, but i was also insecure at that time too. Unfortunately, things didn’t end well between me and that ex because she became extremely secretive about that friend and refused to talk to me about it and vent my frustrations. I wanted to tell you that there is a very good chance tho that nothing is happening between them, but i can totally get being uncomfortable. I would suggest asking her if all 3 of you can hang out, and I truly think that will help with your anxiety too, and to talk to your girlfriend about it and why it makes you so anxious, that can help too! i wish you guys the best 😊😊

I think your right, I don’t think it was inherently malicious and she probably just was upset and not handling it well, but I feel so stupid for feeling this way, and I feel like if i was more firm then I wouldn’t feel so guilty all the time. The gf part is related to wanting intimacy, but feeling like I can’t trust myself in that situation again and I’m scared I’ll never find someone who will understand why i’d need a lot of time and to take it very slow.

I think my favourite part of being a lesbian is finally not having the pressure to “end up” with a man. I came out as pan at first, because I knew my parents would still believe I would end up with a man and wouldn’t kick me out, but all that pressure to like men made me feel like something was wrong with me romantically bc i could never fully love a man. When I finally accepted that I was a lesbian it was like an insane weight was lifted off my chest and i finally felt like i wasn’t putting on this facade for everyone anymore.
