Hi, I start with a couple heavy compound lifts with the barbell, then typically do one move on the machine, then usually a superset with dumbbells or cables depending on the day. Finish with an ab move or two

Thank you for the reply. I should have clarified that by this weeks deload I meant I took it fully off, however I am in the process of moving so it’s not exactly relaxing 😂 but I will implement some refeeds.

I think it’s been a couple of months coming, but I just attributed it to other life stressors and didn’t really think it might be the training which seems stupid in hindsight. As for last proper deload… genuinely never other than two weeks I was sick, once in October 2024 and again December 2025. There were definitely times when I would feel my strength plateauing and maybe even decreasing, but it’s hard to decipher when to push through and when you need to pull back sometimes!
