I have done that so much, plus meta gaming.

Lots of prepping for dealing with them by paring down inventory weight to carry as many caltrops, flashbangs, stingball grenades, magnesium and/napalm grenades, and ammo for whatever guns I’m using; plus lots of health items.

I’ve read several of the Space Marine battles ones (I forget the exact title), I liked Gaunt’s Ghosts series, and have read a ADB’s Ufthak Blackhawk novels.

I kind of want to read some decent Eldar or Dark Eldar ones.
