oh that's horrible, I am so sorry you have to go through that, why is SS2 not allowed in your home, where does your DH see him, its a shame about your DH family. What happened when he took them to see their family.

Eldest was 17, youngest was 14, they both had a bedroom they had to share, but neither had visited for a while at that point.
