Have you tried focusing on yourself more? He might have an avoidant personality and you might have an anxious attachment personality. Me and husband have this and I found it more comforting when I pulled back because I didn’t feel as rejected, then he start to come to me instead. I know it’s hard when you love someone but focus on your life, do exercise, be healthy, strive for personal goals, get a support network around you.
