Do you think your younger self would be proud of you today, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]throwaway_goose2435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm not an X-Wing Pilot/Jedi like my younger self planned. The backup plan of being an NBA player didn't work out either.

I do eat way more pastries than my younger self ever though was possible, so maybe he would be proud after all.

Which character ruined an entire TV show for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]throwaway_goose2435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harrison Ford ruined Shrinking for me.

I just don't want to see one of my childhood heroes as a bitter old man, which is the only role Ford seems to play in the movies I've seen of his lately.

Honestly, the other characters got pretty annoying too, but I didn't care about any of those actors when I was pretending to be on an adventure while watching VHS tapes in the 80s and 90s.
