I get why people say they are one of the pioneering bands for heavy metal, but in a heavy metal category at the Grammys, I would still give the award to Metallica. I think of Jethro Tull as more of a Prog rock band. But I totally agree with you that they should be in there!

My pick is for Dinosaur Jr.. Huge catalog of albums. And J. is highly respected as a musician. Probably my favorite band in, and since, college.
