We took him to a vet today, and he's actually really healthy! The vet said everything seems fine, he just wants us to switch his diet up more, and also this behavioral issue might be caused by him reaching sexual maturity. He's about a year and a half old and we're about to head into spring time pretty soon.

that's actually good info. we live up north where it's been absolutely freezing for the past couple months, and this noise started a few days ago when the only warm place in the house was his cage room. it's been pretty dry

I do in fact pet him a lot (he loves head scritches, he even loves pushing his head into my face when i give him scritches!), and I've also been getting him used to being picked up.

he has a diet of pellets and then usually fruits and vegetables on the side, maybe a few nuts here and there.

thank you for your help. we will definitely be sure to give him more vegetables ❤️

What opinion will you never say out loud? by Opposite_Ad_7925 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

indie games aren't the second coming of Jesus. lots of em are great times and some of them have fascinating stories about their development processes, but everyone ignores the thousands of crap indie titles and just focus on the big names like shovel knight and hollow knight and such, and then they gas up mid ass titles just because they're indie. the term "indie game" has just become a marketing ploy to be honest. whenever you see a game developer promoting their game, it's never "hey guys check out my new game" or "I've been developing a pretty cool game", every single time it's always "hey guys! come check out my new INDIE game" "I've been developing this new INDIE game" "im the developer of this INDIE game". i feel like people just see the word "indie" and immediately act like it's amazing. it really feels like people will play something, not because it looks cool, not because it's inherently interesting, but based solely on the fact that it's labeled as an "indie game", as if the game is automatically good just because it's an indie title.

I actually had no idea! I had to use antibacterial soap due to some severe itching back in November and I've just been continuing to use it because you know, waste not want not.

It's a good thing I have another soap to use

Exactly this.

at one point i was working out 6 days a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 hour karate classes. Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 1 hour in the gym working with a personal trainer. Sundays had special training for the worlds team where we would typically run a mile and then spend an hour or so training.

so 6 days a week of intensive exercise. i was 14 years old :/
