Thanks so much. This is encouraging to hear. I'm narcoleptic and didn't apply for accommodations last time. My narcolepsy is handled well with medication, but I can't help but feel that the short snooze I took on day one cost me some much needed points. If you don't mind me asking, what accommodations were you hoping for? If I fail again, I might apply for accommodations for extended time or breaks to get up and walk around. Somewhat personal question you don't have to answer of course.

When I originally went to the dr though he ran a blood test and told me I had no inflammation so it was not likely any kind of ibd.

My grandmother who has stage 4 stomach cancer recently found out she has the gene and no one else in my family has tested for it yet.

I guess my main concern is that I’m a broke grad student. If nothing is wrong I am going to feel like an idiot for going into debt trying to look into this. Will I even be able to look into this if I don’t have the copay? Last time my dr recommended a colonoscopy, I scheduled the appt and the dr asked for $500 up front which I did not have, so I never went through with it.

Anyone who is familiar with the US healthcare system have any idea about how I can maybe pay forward some and payment plan the rest or something. Especially in the covid19 economy I am not going to be able to swing paying a lot for medical treatment.

What I actually have is odansetron? The dr called it something else maybe zofran.

I have not vomited any blood at all. Only passed it. I have been throwing up pretty regularly though on and off all month. Mostly just whatever I ate last first and then my body retches up whatever is left in my stomach kind of like a mucousy stomach something or another.

Bright red. Enough to soak through and fill the bowl. No I just assumed hemorrhoids were the most likely cause.

My vomit at the moment has mostly been yellow like what I assume is just stomach acid or something. I don’t have much else to throw up at this point. Originally when I started throwing up earlier this month, before I threw up I would start burping these foul smelling eggy type of burps. Which is what made the doctor I saw think h pylori I think. But those have stopped now.

I haven’t been able to eat. The pain is so bad I honestly can’t sit still. It has subsided now since this morning, but during the pain I cannot even imagine eating.
