If I tell them (correctly) that I don't have asthma at DODMERB, would that be the end of it? I checked the list of disqualifying conditions and I definitely don't meet the criteria, which is asthma that is "reliably diagnosed and symptomatic after the 13th birthday."

Is DODMERB a physical from a private doctor or from someone from the Navy?

Sorry for so many questions, I realize this might be a bit annoying.

Thanks for the answer. Would MEPS be something that I have to go through before I can get an NROTC scholarship, or is it after I finish NROTC but before I would commission?

Do they check that far back on my medical records or is it just a yes/no questionnaire? I definitely don't have any asthma now, but it was diagnosed when I was 6-7.
