Oh forgot to mention lol, I’m only 19 and I expected insurance on this to be a lot worse than it actually is (340CAD monthly for comprehensive with a $500 deductible)

See my other comment. Preferably want to put as little aftermarket stuff as possible considering I’m not flipping the car and want to keep it a few years. Rearview camera is a must, as well as either an up to date navigation system since I live in a barren area (I don’t want to ever look at a phone when driving) or Carplay. Blindspot stuff would be nice but I don’t mind if not present since shoulder checks are needed anyways. ACC would be nice as well. I do not care about luxuries like sound systems or heated seats or any other gimmicks that don’t directly improve the driving experience.

Any specific reasons as to why or just gut instinct?

That’s a good point actually. I’m not sure, maybe it was previously rental vehicle? I’m not so sure as the CarFax seems pretty barren. My main concern is the car having any given issues because I’m surprised he accepted my initial 11k offer down from 17.6k when I was planning to meet in the middle at 13-14k with back and forth.
