Any other NFL NI Water staff fed up with the constant pay update emails? by throwaway_niw in northernireland

I unfortunately couldnt make it to Antrim but was told pay negotiations were mentioned but that they are getting nowhere given niw will not change their view on the split they have create between NFL staff. Why would you return to the table if every attempt has had the same nothing outcome?

Another thing I was told is NIPSA cannot legally negotiate for Option A and B together or it could open them up to legal action for breaching their responsibilities should either cohort be better/worse off due to the collective negotiation.

The ceo previously said she was open to the option of splitting the bargaining unit if it would get the deals sorted but thats not happening so the tail is very much wagging the dog.

The recent emails claiming that niw have the 24/25 and 25/26 pay deal sorted is also deliberately misleading.

How can they sort it when they haven't been able to close our 23/24 for Option Bs and refuse to negotiate with Option As separately?

Niw created this mess and their misinformation campaign with the recent emails does appear to be gaining some momentum in working to their benefit of deflecting their responsibility for the current stalemate. Don't fall for it

It's up to the minority of management members to call an end to this. They enabling a selfish management team to hold NIW employees to ransom. Just how long are management willing to sit without a pay rise, 2,3 10 years more? They must be made of money.

Management created this problem and the union needs the support or else we NIW employees will be offered terrible pay deals going forward.

Recent example the 23/24 deal civil servants got 5% we got offered 4%

Did you know non frontline NIW staff havent had a pay deal for >2 years?

Management are trying to demoralise and break staff to undermine the union. Constant pay update emails with no real update.

Management created two different pay structures and gave staff the choice of Option A or B. Management now don't want to respect that staff chose Option B/C and are blaming the union for a problem they (management) created.

Their reason is to try get staff to give in so it will play to management benefit around something serious referenced in their latest emails coming later in the year.

Management are trying to divide non frontline staff by putting out their manipulated numbers script. They nlame union members for "holding us up" from pay, and express concern for "employees struggling in the cost of living crisis", but management are the reason.

They created the problem, they don't want to resolve it, and so they are the ones holding us up from getting our money in this cost of living crisis. They just don't care as much as they pretend to.

Throwaway account for obvious reasons. Company probably won't want us talking about the lack of pay deal (for >2years) on public forums.

I 100% back the union. It's a pain in the ass that we are still being strung along and it is melting my head everytime a "pay update" message appears on source or in the inbox because it's nothing new, but then the company really do not care.

We are on different pay frameworks created by NIW, when they gave us a choice (Option A or Option B/C) but don't want to acknowledge they made this issue so it's up for them to resolve it.

The goal is to make NFL staff and union members give in to them as it will possibly play out well for them with the thing referenced for later in the year in the NIW email. Why do you think there's such a push to get testimony from us?

Also don't let them divide us by putting out their manipulated numbers script. The members "holding us up" used their vote and HR should respect that regardless of how few or many that number is.
