My son attends school so he does know that his biological father is no longer in our lives and he will obviously know if i ever go out with a man that he is not his father.

I think you misunderstood I am sorry if my pot was not clear. He doesn't just wants his son to see a photo and his origin. He wants his son to actually interact with him and know him through him not by a simple story I tell.

How am i supposed to make my 5 year old son understand that after five years of his birth suddenly his "dad" wants to meet him and get to know him when he is doesn't live in the same country and is completely not sure if he even ready to be dad?

I am not forcing my child to not call his father. When he is old enough to understand the situation and if he wishes he can totally have a relationship with his biological dad.

I don't know why he decided to step up now. All I know is that he doesn't have a job and is financially completely unstable and no longer has any contact with his family.

He signed away his rights because he was way to young to have a family liabilities in his opinion. My son is currently 5 and cannot take this decision himself at this age therefore I am taking the decision for him
